The Viaccess Secure V6 is the current recommended CAM module for official Viaccess viewing cards. It slots into the Common Interface slot on a television or receiver that has one, and decodes the channels your card entitles you to. It is the module BIS TV and beIN Sport recommend for their own cards.
Cards it works with
- BIS TV French television cards, on Hotbird 13 East and Eutelsat 5 West B
- beIN Sport cards, on Hotbird 13 East and Eutelsat 5 West B
- Canal+ and CanalSat Viaccess cards on Astra 19.2 East
- Other official Viaccess cards
Cards it does not work with
This is the question we get asked most, so to be plain about it: the Viaccess Secure V6 does not work with Fransat or TNTSAT cards. Those are free to air platform cards and they only work in their own official boxes or their own dedicated modules. If French free channels are what you are after, you need a Fransat receiver or a Fransat CAM module instead, and we sell both.
