Everything you need to watch free French television in the UK, in one box, from the dish on the wall to the card in the receiver. Built around the CGV E-SAT 4K, the official Fransat Ultra High Definition receiver, so the whole system is on the standard Fransat is moving to rather than the one it is retiring.
The channels come from the Eutelsat 5 West B satellite at 5 degrees West with no subscription and no monthly fee. The package suits French households living in the UK, second home owners, and anyone setting up French television from scratch.
Why the UHD package and not an HD one
Fransat is moving its entire platform to the UHD and HEVC standard, and it will stop selling and renewing Fransat HD cards after 30 September 2026. An HD system bought today can only run until its current card expires. This package is on the new standard from day one. It receives all the existing Fransat HD channels exactly as before, plus France 2 in 4K Ultra High Definition, with more UHD channels expected to follow.

Record in UHD and pause live television
Plug a USB hard drive into the port on the back of the receiver and it becomes a recorder. You can record programmes in Ultra High Definition, pause and rewind live television, and set timers from the on screen guide. The receiver runs on 12V, so the same system works in a caravan or motorhome.

Fitting it yourself, or letting us do it
The package is complete, so a confident DIY installer has everything needed. Aligning a dish to 5 degrees West is the fiddly part, and it is a different position from the Astra 19.2 East used by TNTSAT, so a dish already pointed at Astra will need moving.
